FCCVI is honoured to be a member of Ross House — Australia's only self-managed, community-owned not-for-profit building, dedicated to empowering grassroots organisations working toward a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society.
We had a wonderful time attending the Welcome Back Brunch and celebrating Neurodiversity Week, connecting with fellow advocates and changemakers.
Ross House is a powerful example of community-driven leadership, managed by its diverse membership of small, medium, and large community groups. Together, they strive to achieve social change through advocacy, education, campaigning, and resource-sharing.
It was also an inspiring experience to visit Housing for the Aged Action Group (HAAG) — a passionate organisation working alongside older people through community activism, service delivery, and advocacy. Their mission to ensure older Australians have secure, affordable housing to age in place with dignity is truly commendable.
We’re excited to continue collaborating with like-minded organisations to create lasting social impact. 💙✨
